Managed to do a bit of artwork, and managed to do a half-arsed job in finishing my A-level art project, which im glad to get out of the way before it killed my soul even more. Im on study leave at the moment, and as usual i have done absolutely no revision. Ive officialy stopped giving a shit about my life, so im going to make the most of this dull grey suburban hell and smoke and drink more, and maybe cough up a few peices of artwork now and then when the feeling of apathy isn't too strong.
So, now ive got that out the way, i can get to the point:
Ive been doing a bit of thinking about my general artistic direction, and white style i would class my work as. I take influence from many different art movements, including Romanticism, pre-Raphaelite, Surrealism and of course the Renaissance masters. But i suppose what i produce is a sort of fantasy-themed Gothic Romanticism with a very dark and melancholy edge, which is quite fitting really. But i cant help but wish i was going in a more avant-garde direction....
